ahhhh... woke up to a very quiet house this morning. The guys left about eight-thirty to go to work so I took advantage of that and slept until ten, a luxury for me.

KP & Southern Rain have an early show at a Walmart Warehouse Center 10 year anniversary celebration in Pauls Valley. Mark says I should come over but I doubt that I will get Emily up and around to do that. I am content to stay home.

Ugh.. I had the bright idea last night to fry chicken, I probably haven't cooked fried chicken in 25 years and believe me it will be at least another 25 before I do it again. What a mess. I will leave the frying to the Colonel.

I keep watching those baby squash and thinking that any day now they will be big enough to start eating.

I received NCIS season three a couple of days ago and we are loving it. Boy, it starts off intensely. I'm thinking we may start on 24 after we finish NCIS, I've heard it is really good, too.

The pool is finally sparkling clean. The liner is shot so it still doesn't look great but the water is clean - now if it were just warm enough to swim.

update on Copper.... he gets up and moves from place to place several times a day. He is eating, drinking and wags his tail every time I get close. He's such a good dog, even in the shape he is in he gets up and goes out to the field to use the bathroom - now if we could just teach Levi's new pup to stop pooping in my front yard!

Update on Charlie... haven't heard a thing from him since he called. I hate to be callous but I really just don't want to get involved in their fighting. I really, really wish he would just grow up and be a man.

We watched Mall Cop last night. It was a pretty cute movie, funny, but not that really stupid gross funny like some of them. We liked it anyway.

Hope you guys have a good weekend. Enjoy this beautiful weather!!

Where did you get the NCIS season DVDs? I want to get them, too. I'ved seen lots of episodes, but I'd like to see them in order and get the background on the characters.
You're making the right decision to stay out of Charlie's situation. If he shows up, maybe just let him "rest" a while.
Our weekend was wonderful - my facebook status tells about Miss A's reaction to the decorations at our house. Plus, we got to take a two hour nap together. Nothing better than that, for sure. Jeanne
