The issue has been resolved.
I was actually able to keep my mouth shut... for the most part. I did voice my concerns and let Seth know that I didn't think it was a good move for what that was worth (pretty much nothing)
But, I didn't blow up.
and, it seems as if the Universe took care of it for me. After a lot of back and forth between Seth, his buddy, and the girlfriend Seth decided it was just too much drama for him and put an end to the conversation.
I'm happy about it.
When the time is right, say next summer when he is 18 and busy being a rock star, I will be behind his getting his own place and becoming more independent. I will always hold a place in his life and I want to be able to support him in his decisions... when they are good ones. :)

I'm so glad that this current drama is over. Hopefully Seth learned a little from it.
Much love
I'm so grateful to have you guys to rant to.
thanks for putting up with me
much love to you
Your such an amazing mom! I probably wouldn't have been able to keep my mouth shut.
well, Sandy, its like you guys keep telling me - he is a good kid - a kid - yes - but, a good one and I do understand that need to get out on his own, like I said, I left home when I was 16 and never went back. In fact, I'm proud of him for wanting to be independent; I just didn't feel like this was the right time or place for his leaving.
There is still a little tension between all of us and him, I'm just hoping we can get past it and enjoy what time we have left together.
Phew. :)
