WoW! We woke up to one noisy storm this morning, made me glad to be snuggled up in bed. The lightning was just scary.

So.... we've had like a foot of rain this week. My garden, right now, is standing in about two inches of water. There have been brief periods where it was not raining and I could get outside but there is not much you can do with it this wet. Just walking across the yard makes the ground squish under your feet. Things are very, very green and when it does dry out I am going to have a lot of mowing, hoeing and weeding to do.

Seth and I are hooked on playing Farm Town on facebook. I guess we are both a little obsessive when it comes to stuff like that. We play it like our life depends on it for a while and then get bored with it and move on to the next thing. The last one was Professor Layton's Curious Village. We worked on it day and night until we both finished the game. Seth was actually better at most of the puzzles than I was. (but I did finally find a cheat sheet online).

Today he (Seth)has gone to Oklahoma City to some big youth talent thing. He is not participating, just went to support the drama group from his church. I was leery about letting him go be in such a huge group of kids with all the flu scare but I could not find a reasonable excuse to not let him go since we have no reported cases in Oklahoma.
The whole swine flu thing just sends me over the edge. I almost died with a stomach virus a few months after Mark and I got married and even still when I hear about that kind of sickness I go into panic mode, get a big knot in my stomach, and then just have to make myself not freak totally out over it.

So, what are you guys doing today?

I hope the weather where you are is better than ours.

I was wondering how you were doing. We saw floods on the news. We are all good here.
