I really prefer blogging as opposed to facebooking. It gives you some room to write and think, to ponder your thoughts out loud, and it seems a bit more private. But, the problem is that I have nothing much to say these days. Our lives are pretty mundane, the daily grind stays pretty much the same. Mark does his thing and I do mine and sometimes we meet in the middle. It is a comfortable place to be. I allow him to be who he is and he gives me the same respect. I used to go with him on every gig, helped haul equipment, sat for long hours and took care of three kids while doing it but that got to be really old. I flat don't want to go with him anymore but he loves it so I released him to be free to go and have fun with what he loves doing and I will stay home and be me. That's the way I like it, uh-huh.

He and Seth worked a private party, class reunion, last night in Davis Oklahoma. Emily and I went out to dinner and hung out, we watched some tv and she played Mario Cart. Everyone is happy.

Tonight we have company coming. Levi is grilling burgers, I made potato salad and baked beans. Christi made a lemon ice box pie for dessert. We will probably call it an early night because of the babies and then Mark and Seth and maybe Levi are going to the stock car races. By then I will be ready for a hot shower and some veg time on the sofa.

We've had a couple of days relief from rain. I managed to get most of my mowing done but it will still be days before I can get into the garden... and the weeds and grass just keep on growing.

Hope you guys are having a relaxing weekend. I hear John and Cheri are out honeymooning :) and our Sandra is home trying to be good and get healed!!! So glad that this is almost behind them.

Well, I need to go make sure Levi is getting the grill fired up, it's time to cook.

Love you all!

Sounds like a beautiful day and life. :)

We're just relaxing here. Everyone is waiting on me hand and foot. If only I wasn't in pain and could really enjoy it. :)
