Well, let's see.. this week while everyone has been gone I have watched "Miss Potter", an absolutely adorable movie about one of my favorite authors. I do so love Peter Rabbit.
And, Tyler Perry's "Daddy's Little Girls" which was a pretty tired story but a feel good movie anyway.
I had rented "Doom" before Seth left for camp, I will wait for him to watch it.
Levi has a birthday coming up soon. For every birthday I cook whatever each child wants or if they would rather go out, we do that. Levi always requests shrimp and cheesecake. This year we will be having shrimp on ice, because that is the way Levi likes it best, scallops, steak (and I splurged on Schwan's choice New York strip)salad and, of course, cheesecakes - one plain, one cherry for dessert. I don't think I will cook a vegetable, the salad will be enough with all the seafood and steak, don't you think? I would love asparagus with it but no one but me likes asparagus and I just don't want to do potatoes of any kind.
I made up another batch of peach ice cream today. I liked the bourbon peach, but, not enough to go to all that trouble again. I had peaches left over that needed to be used so this time I just made plain peach.
We received our first load of materials for building cases, now Mark just has to find time to get started.
We have been almost a week with no rain, all the puddles are dry now except one in the drive way that was pretty deep. The weather here has just been amazing, so not typical for Oklahoma. I don't think it has been much over 90 degrees. This afternoon turned off cloudy (but no rain)with a nice breeze. Usually by mid July it is 100 plus from the daylight until dark with no breeze. Sometimes it is so freakin' hot that when you open the door to walk outside it feels like you've opened an oven door. So this has been nice for us.
We may have some big news, but, I have to wait until Tuesday to tell you.
stay tuned

Tell Levi I said Happy Birthday! I'm glad you didn't mention how old he will be because that always makes me feel even older!
