Casino Royale may just be the best Bond movie, ever. It has been a long time since I've seen Sean Connery as 007 but Daniel Craig is pretty damn good.
Stranger than Fiction is by far my favorite movie with Will Ferrel and Emma Thompson as the slightly crazy, very eccentric narrator is great. Loved the story and the actors.
The Holiday was decent,not great, but worth watching.
I planted 50' rows of potatoes, onions,and radishes, started one theme garden with 2 kinds of lettuce, radishes, and onion - will put in the cucumbers and tomatoes later.
I made lemon poppy seed muffins for breakfast (thank you Mrs White) and strawberry jello cake for this evening's game of dice.
Strawberry Jello Cake
Bake a white cake mix according to directions.
While it is baking - make jello
Boil 2 cups water,
Add 1 large box strawberry jello until dissolved
Add 1 cup cold water, stir
Add 1 cup frozen, sliced strawberries (or raspberries)
Let sit at room temp.
After cake is cooked and cooled slightly, poke it full of holes with a fork
Pour jello and fruit slowly over cake.
Refrigerate for about 2 hours
Top with whipped cream.
Other than that, I mowed our yard and Mother's yard, dug a wheelbarrow load of irises out of one of my flower beds and moved them to another spot,and cleaned up around our little pond.
We went to Home Depot this afternoon and just roamed around. Geez, I love that place. I could've spent big $$, but only dreamed today.
Emily and I found the perfect yard swing and almost took a nap in it. But, certainly decided we should own it so we can.
If any of you guys are blues lovers, you will love the CD Mark is working on now. It should be finished in a month or so.

Casino Royal IS the best Bond ever.
Daniel Craig rox. His stunts at the beginning were insane. The chair scene is not going to be forgotten anytime soon.
I would have preferred a different female, she looked oily to me.
We saw the 300, violent, bloody, and lots and lots of sex. Xerxes tent was a very perverted place. Xerxes was a little too fantastical to be real. Apparently all of Iran is completely offended at this movie, that it's an affront to Iran. HUH??? It's Greece and Persia. I know Persia used to be on Part of what is now Iran, but this was a zillion years ago.
Cara - yeah, that chase scene was insane,wasn't it. Levi was telling me about the "free runners" that actually do that and that the guy he's chasing in the scene is one of the top free runners. Wow!

I am recommending to J that we buy the Casino Royale CD...Daniel Craig was hunky, huh?
I saw The Holiday when I was in Denver on a business trip by myself, and I liked it. Cameron Diaz was more annoying than usual to me, but Kate Winslet's character (and her relationship with Markus Sewell) reminded me of a relationship I had been in and actually helped me bring some closure to that.
Movies are great. I'm looking forward to seeing 300.
My favorite part about The Holiday was Eli Wallach (the old man Kate's character befriended). He was great.
and... yeah... Daniel Craig definitely would rate as Hunky!!
I have not had time to watch any new movies lately, BUT we are on vacation too! The Strawberry Cake sounds good and I love strawberries!
They are in season right now here in FL and a friend brought me some yesterday for my B-day. We'll be having strawberry shortcake tonight.
