Being "The Mom" just rocks. sometimes. like today.
I've pretty much tried to stay out of Levi's latest venture (see pics below). He's a big boy.
I did voice my opinion (which he didn't like) when he told me that he was going thru GMAC or some other finance company other than our bank because the bank wouldn't loan him enough. I told him I thought financing a truck for 72 months was something he would regret in a few years and reminded him that he had said it was something he would never do.
He called me today and ASKED for my help in figuring out what to do....
He asked me.
So, I got on the phone with our bank, used a little influence ( I just think it is wonderful that our bankers treat us like we have money because we owe them so damn much money)and got him a 5 year loan for the amount he needed at the same payment the finance company had offered thus saving him a years worth of paying interest.
I AM DA MOM.
