Seth and I went out about 12:30 last night to watch the eclipse, at that point from here it just looked like a shadow/or a wispy cloud hanging in front of the moon. It was 64 degrees, clear and a perfect night for sky watching. After a while we got tired of trying to look straight up at the moon and Seth went in to get us a couple of sleeping bags... good idea Seth. We snuggled in and stayed to watch. The eclipse was amazing, being with Seth just hanging out watching it and talking even more amazing..

It was almost at total eclipse at 1:30 and I was getting that sick/tired feeling so we went in. We both popped back out several times to see where it was. After we had been in the house just a few minutes he went out and then came to get me to see... in just that few minutes the atmosphere had changed - it was much colder, darker, and a thick fog had formed.

My last trip outside was at 2:30.. total eclipse.. AMAZING.

Today is winter solstice. I welcome the light.

I am celebrating by giving light (I bought a copy of WWRWW for a new acquaintance)
We are celebrating light (by going to the parade of lights in Ardmore this evening)

and I am doing this today....

the owner of the ballroom's wife is a tattoo artist and they gave me a gift certificate to get my tattoo.

I am so excited.

I'm so happy you were able to get this tattoo and so inspired by your devotion to the light and your relationship with Seth!
