"After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." Aldous Huxley

Went to the doctor this morning specifically because my blood pressure has been consistently high for a week or more. We discussed my heart issues and he seems to believe that the problem is that my BP medication is wearing off in the evenings and causing all the racing/pounding. I know that congestive heart failure is (usually) caused by untreated high blood pressure so I guess that makes sense. He changed my blood pressure medication and upped the dosage from 50mg to 100mg. I'm not sure that this is the correct way to go but we will give it a try to see if it corrects the problem and I will continue to do what I am doing - walking, eating better, etc., can't hurt.

I am so glad you went to the doctor! They do call high blood pressure the silent killer. Your efforts combined with the meds should keep your heart healthy! :)
I'm thrilled you went, and that all that may be needed is just a simple med adjust.
Never shortchange yourself, your family needs you. You need you. We all need you.
Much Love.
Yeah!!
