It was hot today, boo, makes me rather grumpy, but, it is cooling off now, supposed to be cooler the rest of the week and rain is predicted. So, far every time they predict rain for us, it just passes us by.

Mark actually took the day off. He, Emily, and I went to town and did some shopping since the rest of his week is going to be busy, busy. We looked at water feature stuff again, but, decided to buy paint for the studio instead. I've been asking him to paint it for a couple of years (it looks awful)to no avail, so, I suppose I will just get out there and do it myself.

School is going fine. I was surprised this morning when I sat down to do our weekly lesson plan and realized that we are in our 5th week already! Seth and I have been discussing his options, and, he is leaning towards going to a tech school to learn auto body before he goes to ECU to work on his degree in music. I haven't met a musician yet that in the beginning didn't need a day job. I don't really care which way he goes, either one is a good choice for him.

Mark, Levi and I are contemplating signing another musician to our record label. We sat at the dinner table last night and made a list of pros and cons and the pros won. It's really not much of a risk for us, our only obligation is to produce the CD's which only costs us time and even if the CD's don't sell at the end of the contract they have to pay us our commission on them anyway. Win/Win for us.

Mark's birthday is Wednesday and he will be gone. So, I am going to cook his birthday dinner tomorrow night, his favorite - Swiss steak over rice and chocolate cake with vanilla icing for dessert.

My birthday is Friday and they will be gone again, this time for the entire weekend. So, we are going to Norman on Thursday to do some shopping and go out to eat.

Don't know what Ms Em and I will do this weekend.

How's your week going?

Seth is so smart. I completely agree with his decision to go to tech school and then get the music degree. It will provide a steady source of income when he needs it most!

Happy early birthday!
