Okay, so back to the bare spot I am supposed to be working on...
I am thinking a flag stone walk-way from the house and out about 4 feet (the walkway goes to my laundry room) and a small pergola/more like a large trellis just to the west ( towards the driveway)of the walk way and a few plants, maybe a redbud tree at the very edge of spot.

I love the pergola idea. Does Wisteria grow well? I can't remember. Perhaps just plant mistletoe and be done with it LOL.

I was thinking wisteria too and yes it grows fine here.
Ooooh, sounds neat. Love wisteria. Oh, and clematis. :)
Clematis doesn't do well in Oklahoma, I've tried :(
