It has been a busy week for my guys. They worked all day Thursday and Friday doing an install job at a local church. Friday night Mark drove to Ardmore (hour and a half)to run sound for Kevin Pickett & Southern Rain. He didn't have to set up our PA, they used one that was already there. Saturday he and Levi went back to the church for a couple of hours and then back again early this morning to run the newly installed consoles and do a training session. Tonight we are having company. Then it is back to work as usual tomorrow.
The weather has been decent - what a relief!! We had 80's and low 90's all week so I spent my days outside. It felt sooooo good to be out working. I have mowed and dug and cleaned and pulled. I wasn't as sore as I thought I might be after two straight months of doing almost nothing. My hands hurt but that's about it.
I'm excited that next weekend is our first Oklahoma Sooner football game!! and, yes, I already have my menu planned :)
Do you guys have any plans for Labor Day weekend? We do - work.

I'm working Sunday so I can be off on Labor Day. We'll go to the local parade, and participate in some of the activities then we'll be home having a cook out and enjoying the day.
I work my 6 12's this week, so I get off work at 6am Monday morning.
But - I get 6 hours of overtime!
My husband will be home, hanging out.

My best girl, Missi, is having a birthday so we're doing some shopping on Saturday. Not sure about the rest of the weekend. :) It feels so good to have a good friend to do girl stuff with occasionally. :)
I get a long weekend...off friday and monday. I'll be celebrating my birthday on Saturday by going to a baseball game!
