Okay, so Seth turns 16 in a couple of weeks, 10 days to be exact and he will be allowed to date (Sandra is sitting there thinking "I can't believe she is going to let Seth date") Since I have not dated in 40 years I am a little out of the loop on dating protocol.
My question is... are the guys still expected to pay for everything on a date or do kids go dutch?
so enlighten me, please.

In all seriousness I think most couples probably go dutch just from the way I hear Erin's friends talk, but it'd be so sweet if Seth was old school about it.

i went dutch most of the time, with sometimes Chris paying.
he doesn't have a girlfriend .. yet.. I'm just trying to get my mind wrapped around the whole idea. We have talked about it. The girl that he likes is the PK and he knows her Dad won't let her date. We talked about how the whole group dating thing would be better anyway and he is good with that.
Maybe since it isn't forbidden fruit it won't look so enticing.
