Damn, it was HOT today! Seth called time & temperature at two o'clock and it was 102.
I didn't get up early enough to do anything much outside this morning (just the have to stuff) so I waited until right before dark, eight-thirty to pick things in the garden and mow a little and it was still miserably hot.
We got Seth's stitches taken out this afternoon. His fingers look pretty good, considering. He can drum again which makes him a happy boy.
Our electricity went off about five o'clock this morning for some odd reason. It is strange how the rhythm of the house effects me. In an already quiet house, when it got even quieter, the change of the rhythm was enough to wake me up. I stumbled around and turned off the air conditioners, lit a candle in the bathroom and turned Em's emergency battery powered night light on in case she woke up and stumbled back to bed.
At least it wasn't in the middle of the day when it was ONE HUNDRED TWO DEGREES!!
Life is good.

It was rather warm here today, but nothing like OK. I'm sending thoughts of a nice cool breeze your way. :)
Man! The powerlines sag when it gets that hot, and the heat causes some outages.
That sagging is part of what caused the big East Coast Blackout.
