Well, I guess I'm done on Face Book. The virus we picked up has killed our computer. Levi thought he had it after working on it most of the day Saturday, running anti-virus software for hours on end, but, every time he would find a trojan and think he had it isolated it would show up somewhere else. Our computer is used for business and has stuff on it we cannot afford to let get hacked so we finally gave up and shut it down for good. We have an old back up that I am using until the new one arrives. I'll miss face book, it was fun and we loved playing the games but can't afford to let this happen again.
My weekend was long, without having computer access, too wet still to do anything outside, nothing great to read, and the guys were gone from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning. I was a little lonely. I watched Seven Pounds which kind of threw me for a tailspin. It was not at all what I expected and so sad that for the rest of the day I cried about everything. Hell, I even cried watching NCIS.
Today we went to the garden center and Home Depot so I could pick up a few things. I needed tomato cages and insect spray. I also found some tiki torches on sale for out by the pool. I love Home Depot.
The weather predictions are for sunny weather this week. I am so glad. Hopefully after a few days of sunshine I will be able to get into my garden with the tiller and save it from the grass and weeds. Everything looks good right now but much longer and it will be lost to the grass.
I'll miss seeing your day-to-day updates on Face Book so you'll have to let me know what you are up to!

I'm so sad! :( What antivirus software do you use? After our last virus we started using a new one that has been really good. I can send you the name if you like. I just have to ask David what it is.
Levi has been telling his Dad for years that we needed a better one. All we had was something he downloaded for free. You can bet that after this we will be running a better one. We have AVG on this computer now and the new one will come with Norton (I think). Maybe after we get a really good anti-virus software he will let us use face book again :)
I really like Norton. The only thing I don't like is that when it updates the virus info, so it can fight viruses, it makes the computer slow down. But, I haven't had a virus since I started using Norton about four years ago.
We used McAfee at our workplaces, too. It's a good one also.
I think that one way to relieve frustration about the slowdown is to do it when I don't have to be productive. Like first thing in the morning, while I'm still reading the paper or something like that. It doesn't have to be done daily. I also like that it reminds me to update every so often. Anyway...

David says we use Zone Alarm. It alerts us as soon as anything suspicious happens. It will tell us if something is trying to access the internet or if something from the internet is trying to access any of our files. It gives you the option to allow or not so if it's something you are doing you can continue. Since we installed it we haven't had a single problem.
