Today was the first time this week that Mark has been home with me for morning coffee. You have to realize that I am spoiled to him being here everyday except Mondays. He comes in from the shop at nine o'clock and puts on the coffee which is my alarm.
And, now he is gone again.
He and Seth are working a private party, a graduation party, in Seminole. It should be a fairly early night for them. They are in a residential area and I would bet the cops shut them down before ten.
But, tomorrow we are taking the day off to go to Norman to do some shopping and just spend the day together.
This is Seth's first week out of school and he has been up at seven every day and off to work with his Dad. Welcome to life, Sethy my boy.
Got my garden tilled this morning. It looks beautiful. The dirt looks so good and rich. It has taken me about 10 years to get it like that. I have worked about ten inches of hay into the soil and layers and layers of grass and leaves and compost. Last year I bought a tandem truck load of sand and worked into it. I can't tell you how many bags of composted cow manure I have poured on it and tilled into it and finally it looks like a garden. Now we will see if it will produce food.
We are still working with an old computer. The new one won't be here until next week... it is so slow and most of our business stuff won't work on it... frustrating as hell.
I would like to sit outside with a cup of coffee but the mosquitoes are just crazy since all the rain. You have to put bug spray on to be outside and I hate to spray poison on myself. So, I think I will go sit in the house with Ms Em and have that cup of coffee now.
