Okay... I'm just sitting here with my mouth hanging open...
I've been shopping on zappos for baby shoes. I'm not much of a shoe freak, but, I decided I wanted to buy Zoe some cool high tops. Geez, oh man! They have some cute ones on zappos, but, they run anywhere from $50.00 - $150.00. Can you imagine paying that much money for a pair of infant sneakers???????
I can't.
Guess I will go look at Payless next time I'm in town.
Hope you guys have had a good Easter. Ours has been quiet. Levi and Christi went to her Mom's today. Seth was still pretty worn out from his lock-in experience and I'm always up for a nice quiet lazy day. Seth and I did go on an unexpected hike. We were just going to walk down to the little pond to see how much rain we got last night (and it was a lot of rain)and we started talking about where the run off goes to, so, we started walking and talking about the things my Dad did and now I do to keep gullies from getting out of hand. We followed the drainage ditch to the creek and then he wanted to walk on down the the railroad trestle, which is a long way thru heavy undergrowth. When we got to the trestle we decided to follow the old railroad bed back to the ranch next door and cut across back to home (less undergrowth). By the time we got home I was pooped! The worst part was having to climb over barbed wire fences, I don't do that so well anymore. But, it was fun.
Other than that we have laid on the sofa and watched one movie after another - Thelma and Louise, Stand by Me, The Goblet of Fire, and several episodes of NCIS.
Tomorrow is back to school, back to work.

I've had a lot of luck getting Hayden shoes at GoodWill and SA. I found a pair of New Balance for him that were only $3.00 and since they are baby shoes they are practically brand new.
I love those little socks that look like shoes. So fun!
Your hike sounds like a good time. That is one of my favorite things to do.
Target has those soft-soled ones that are good for pre-walkers and just starting to walk for a little less than $15, I think. Alyssa pretty much never wears shoes. :) I'm a let-those-feet-breath-and-grown kind of mama.
Nice hiking. Sounds wonderful.
