It has been another busy week around here and as you know I do not like busyness. I have to shake my head at families that stay on the go all the time with some activity or another, not for me, thank you very much.

On Wednesday I had to make two trips to Ada, once to take Seth to the doctor and another to see our accountant and do weekly shopping. Two trips in one day is not my idea of fun.

Today we were in Norman all day. It was a fun day though. I've said it before but just being in that store(Sam's) with those huge amounts of food and other various stuff just makes me happy.

Tomorrow we have a funeral to go to, then Mark will be off to some honky-tonk to work.

He is in the studio tonight.

As of today Seth and I are on spring break. All of the area schools were out this week but I decided next week would work best for us.

I have been planting a few new plants around in the yard where I can find space. I added a hosta in one of my shady gardens and three new red day lilies this morning to a bed I started last year. Most of my day lilies are orange so this should add some needed color. In a few years I should have about three dozen to dig and separate. I also transplanted some sunny twinkles and grape hyacinths to this bed. Right now I am just waiting not so patiently to start my veggie garden. It has been double tilled and is ready to go but I know better than to get in too big of a hurry or I will wind up having to replant when everything gets killed in a late frost.

I need to (so badly) work in the office this weekend so I'm kind of hoping the weather stays dreary and I might actually do it.

We'll see.

I like hosta and some of the other flowers you mentioned. Hope you get some cool weather this weekend. :)

I'm gonna try to go rent Twilight tomorrow, but it will probably be out...

I like hostas, do calla lilies grow well there? I'd put a big patch under a huge tree if I had a huge tree.

I have to do my taxes, and I don't wanna do my taxes.

I still need to read the books. I started The Watchman but haven't gotten far on it. It's hard for me to stay hooked up with a book when it is pretty outside.

cara - I don't really know. I love cala lilies, I love lilies of all kinds but I have never grown any cala lilies or seen anyone else around here that has them so they probably don't do well in our summer heat but now I will have to find out for sure.

If they will grow here I will plant some around one of my big trees in honor of you :)
