We are in our second week of having temperatures above 100 degrees. I don't do well in this kind of heat.
The sun is so hot that it literally hurts my skin when I get in direct sunlight - which I avoid. The air is so hot and heavy that it feels like someone sitting on my chest when I try to breath outside.
It is almost 8:00 in the evening right now and I just came in from doing about 10 minutes worth of mowing - which turned out to be not such a good idea.
The predictions are for it to be like this the rest of this week but cooling off to the 90's next week.
We have a three hour drive tomorrow to take Em to see her dentist, but, we'll try to have some fun too. We are hoping the new mall right by the dentist office is open this trip, they've been working on it for about a year now.
I'm on the third Harry Potter book, what fun!
Christi went to interview for a new job today. I haven't talked to her yet to see how it went.
I'll let you know though.

That is too hot! It better cool off by the time I get there.
I'm getting more excited each day.
I think about that kind of heat every summer here in the Northwest.
I moved here from Oklahoma in August of 1989 I remember one afternoon it was just glorious...and about 85. I went out on my porch and my next door neighbor said 'HOT ENOUGH FOR YA?'
I was in hysterics.
By the way, go back and read my comment back to you on the dragon fly. Make sure you have something to gnash your teeth on first.
