We've been three days without rain. The nasty, smelly, stagnant pools of standing water are almost all dried up. The yard has been mowed.
Christi cooked our Sunday night meal this week. She made a delicious beef stroganoff with egg noodles. Levi made a lime bar dessert, a little too tangy for my taste, but, good.
This morning's church service was pretty good. We watched excerpts from Walk the Line. It isn't hard to draw spiritual connections from Johnny Cash's life.
Seth will be leaving for church camp in a week, which I have lots of mixed emotions about... mostly, I will just miss him.
He and his Dad worked all afternoon building benches for the area where they will be building cases. The new table saw is awesome looking.
Let's see, I watched Country Life last night - okay movie. I tried to watch Gray Matters but didn't realize it was a lesbian movie and Seth was sitting with me. I didn't think it was appropriate for him to watch so I shut it off. I have had Flicka for two weeks and could never get Em interested in watching it with me so I just sent it back. The boys went to see Transformers and loved it. Christi went to see Ratatouille (?)She said it was cute.
Right now I'm going in to watch Food Networks Next Star with the kids.
Hope you had a great weekend!

i totally hear you about church camp-- lots of good and bad came from Church camp for me.
Church camp was always fun for me. I think I really learned a lot at there.
I'm glad it's stopped raining.
