Dinner was wonderful tonight. Levi has become the Grill Master!! The chicken was cooked to perfection, perfectly done, still moist, and oh, so, tender and tasty. We made a huge salad with iceburg, romaine, and spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes and green pepper which was perfect with the meat and Christi's herbed garlic bread was so good with it.
Having Nate and Becky here was such a treat, but, it's always like I just saw them a few days ago. They are like family and Gosh they are pretty, all 3 of them. Sam is adorable, even when he is grumpy. He has the sweetest smile.

On with the miracle stories:

You will love this one, you may not believe it, but, it really did happen.

~~~
Mark and I had only been married a few months when we got involved in a street ministry. We went almost every weekend to the main street where the kids hung out on Friday and Saturday nights, milled around, talked to kids, passed out tracts.. you know, that sort of ministry.
On this particular Saturday night I had decided to stay home. Mark walked to Main Street since we only lived a few block away. He was supposed to meet up with a group of men from various churches in the area.
It was summer and it was hot. Somewhere about midnight Charlie, who was 11 at the time, and I decided to go sit outside on the porch. We lived in an upstairs apartment but downstairs there was a nice porch. We were sitting and just talking. We were both getting tired and wanted Mark to come on home. I took Charlie's hand and simply prayed..
"Lord, please, tell Mark that we need him, too."
and, we went upstairs to get ready for bed.
In about 10 minutes or less Mark comes running up the stairs as fast as he could, bursted in the door and asked,
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong, why?"
"The Lord told me you needed me. I got here as fast as I could"
Believe it or not, it happened just like that.
You guessed it, chills again! That's an amazing story not only because Mark knew to come home, but because he listened to it. How many times do we feel something like that and ignore it?
I love the unexplainable stuff.
What a simple prayer - and what an amazing answer. And what a great response from Mark, as he heard what the Spirit said. How in the world did you find this man? Your stories are helping me to re-look at some of my own. Thank you for doing this.
