When I look at Seth I see something beautiful and wild and glorious and unfinished. He is in the process of being shaped and molded into the man he will be.
I want to help him find what's good and right and let it develop in him. I take such delight in watching him grow. I want to be strong enough to back off and allow him a little danger in his life but all the while giving him to place of security and peace he needs for nurturing. He's kind and gentle, I want to make sure that doesn't get trampled on. I want to allow his creativity to soar into whatever direction it takes, making sure that he has the opportunity to let that happen.
Let the wild man in him grow up to be a gentle giant so that no one can steal his soul.

I love watching my nephews and nieces in the same way... I don't get to see them daily, but I get to hear that change in their voice and the way they speak and interact with me.

The oldest one recently said to me "I look awesome in pretty much anything........."

LOL
