long boring day, long boring post....

You know, I do all the same things on the days that Mark is gone as I do every other day, but, they just don't feel the same. Life would be empty without him.

He and Seth left this morning to drive 5 hours to Welch OKlahoma, work a concert for about 7 or 8 hours and then drive 5 hours home in a truck with 6 guys. They both love doing this... to me it would be torture.... sitting shoulder to shoulder with someone (anyone)in a truck for 10 freaking hours. No Thank You!!

Emily and I decided to go to town late in the afternoon. We went to Blockbuster and I let her pick a movie, then to Walmart just to shop (her choice of stores). She bought a new movie and a new V-Tech game. We looked at clothes and shoes. I wanted some rubber boots but they didn't have any cute ones. We stopped to eat at Jack-in-the-Box on the way home. She loves their chocolate milkshakes and I think they make the best fries.

Levi and Christi came over to hang out with us after we got home. We watched cooking shows and Discovery (Eye of the leopard).

Now it's late and I'm tired, hopefully I will sleep.

My husband and I are the same way. We don't really do anything different when we are together, but life is just that much more dull.

Nobody to talk to or laugh with. The weekends are just awful for him when I am at work, and when I am off during the week and he is working, I hate it. I think I want to find a new job, not because of what I do, which you all know how much I love, but because of how much time we spend apart.

I love to watch cooking shows! Good Eats is one of our favorites and I really enjoy Paula Deen though her accent bothers me a little.

Cara - Mark and I are together 24/7, so when he's gone, I'm really pitiful.

Sandy - we love the Food Network. Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Dinner Impossible, and Ace of Cakes are our favorite. I can't stand to watch Paula because of her accent. I love Giada (sp?)and Rachel Ray.

Whenever my hubby is at home I do not want to go anywhere he isn't! He works such long hours away that I treasure when he is home. Today after Church I talked him into going to this secluded beach I found last year and just relaxing with the kids. The ocean was beautiful, there wern't alot of people there and everyone had fun in the water.
