Okie dokey - I've had a couple of days to sit and look at my new dining room, enjoy the clean house which isn't so clean anymore - doesn't last long does it?? Cara, you nailed it.. I love a clean house, I just hate to do what it takes to keep it that way. I would love to have a weedless garden... fat chance of that ever happening!
And, now I've decided what my next project will be. Well, actually the next project is to get the yards mowed (or is it mown)(it has been way too wet to mow here)(hell, I've got mushrooms growing in the garden it is so wet here... but, I digress...)
Any way... my next project is going to be Emily's room. I was vacuuming back there yesterday and noticed there was MOLD all over her carpet. (I told you it has been wet here). Her room is going to be tough to work on, she has sooo much "stuff" in her room. The girl loves "stuff" and she does not like it messed with. I will shove everything to one side of the room and rip out half the carpet, clean, around the baseboards need to be sealed with caulking, and Mark is going to lay tile. I may even try my hand at laying tile. Then we will do the other half of the room.
So, I'm off and running again.. from the words of one of favorite blues songs.."get on up, don't let your feet get cold..."
Hope your summer is off to a good start.

a dehumidifier for the house, and a frying pan for the garden LOL
mowed.... i am sure...maybe roundup?
I have to pull weeds tomorrow.
ick.
either that or get hate mail from the trailer park managers.
hmmmm...it's not really HATE mail, just 'we don't like you today' mail....I could wait a little.....
You are impressive.
I can lay tile, so I know you can lay tile. A crazy friend here quilts her tile, making intricate designs at the entrances of rooms. It's really cool, and she swears not that hard. She follows patterns out of quilt books.
