This morning as I sat in worship, once I was finally able to get centered enough to get quiet, I pictured a map of the United States in my head and I went from the Pacific Northwest, down thru CA,across middle America, over to Maryland and down to Florida sending each of you light and love. It made the worship service a joy to be in, only I really wanted to sit in the floor, cross my legs and say OMMM OMMM OMMM, but, I thought that might be a little too outrageous even for me to do, so, I sat quietly in my chair and envisioned a happy place.
We watched Deja Vu last night. It is a good movie, especially if you like Denzel (and I do) and science fiction (and I do, again).
Tomorrow is the first official day of our summer vacation. WoW! This school year flew by. Next year won't be so great - lots more work. I'm glad this was such a good year because starting next year Seth will think his Mom is a drill sergeant. It's always weird for a little while to not be doing school but I will adjust :)
Mark and the boys worked on the stairs for me today. Mark even put the first coat of paint on them, tomorrow I will finish the stairs and paint the ceiling. I bought what I am going to use on the floor today. It is going to be a major pain in the ass getting it ready to paint, but, in the end I'm just hoping it will be worth it.
Rachelle has a great post up about a meditation on the feminine divine @ Urban Abbess.
Hope you had a good weekend.

Thank you, A.
I liked Deja Vu, too. A little heavy-handed maybe (most scifi is...all the explaining they have to do and everything), but I like Denzel a lot, too.
I liked Deja Vu, my mom goes into some kind of apoplexy whenever she sees Denzeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel on the screen.
It's so strange, and I am sure most of you cannot even fathom it, but when school is in or out has just hardly no meaning at all for me any more. I'm kind of "wow. really? already?" every time it's in or out. Mostly I just notice there are lots more kids out and about.
You should have heard the phone conversation between my mom and me when she read my post on meditating/sending light. I'm almost certain she thinks I'm crazy never mind the fact that plenty of significat Christians throughout time have used meditation. It's sad how religion can make you so scared of so much. Just yesterday as we drove home from the beach and I listed to "The Eagles: Hell Freezes Over" and remembered how when I was in highschool I couldn't listen to in and several other bands because my mom was convinced that it was the devils music.
You took a nice little "trip"! Thank-you!
Kristen - I like all the detail stuff in movies like that, makes my brain spin.
Cara - your Mom and I have something in common then!!
Sandy - I always heard that country music was the "devils music" big smile
Cheri - you're welcome, I like praying for all of you ladies
