Okay - so now you know where I am these days. I am out mowing. I just wanted you to get an idea of how much I mow and in a normal year with plenty of rain I have to mow it once a week. So, I just never get finished. By the time I get it done it's time to start again.

Levi and Christi decided to not pay her sister anymore to clean their house. Christi is going to try to do it herself. Last night Levi told me she did do some cleaning upstairs, so, I told him that I would go over today and do up all the dishes so she wouldn't start off overwhelmed. I got that done.

It is soooo hard for me to stay hooked up doing school when the weather is this beautiful. We had a sick day yesterday, neither of us could think because of massive amounts of snot in our head. We did do school this morning, although, I cut the lessons short and didn't make him do all the problems.

I have onions, peppers, several kinds of greens, radishes, and some volunteer squash up in my garden. I love the volunteer stuff, it's like getting a surprise from God.
The potatoes aren't up yet?? Pretty soon I will go ahead and plant everything else on my list.

Seth asked me today if we could try to go one day without eating anything from the store. "Sure, as soon as the garden starts producing." It will be fun. I even told him I would bake bread and go buy some farm eggs from Richard and Rhonda.

I'm off to mow.................

I absolutely love the idea of a day without store food. Brilliant kid!

There is no way I’d be able to teach with the gorgeous weather out there. I’d have to find a way to teach outdoors.

I'm with Jennifer. I'd cancel school at the first sign of good weather. It kills me to sit in the office all day when I can see how pretty it it outside.
