I needed to sit down a minute so I thought I would write while I am resting.
It has been one of those perfect spring days where everything in my world is good and green.
Mark and Seth left early, they have been working for two days with a huge crew getting ready for a Newsboys concert tonight. Mark is in charge of staging which in this case is a very big job. He would rather be doing the sound but they bring their own sound system and sound tech, but, he's happy as long as he gets to be doing anything that has to do with live concerts. Seth is having a ball and getting paid - can't beat that with a stick.
I've been busy outside all day long. Levi and I took out another old post that needed to be removed. I pushed it down with my Kubota and he cut it up and hauled it off. I dug some more bulbs, pulled some weeds, and just about have Mother's yard mowed.
Levi bought a new grill last week and cooked steaks for us. I offered to buy this weekend if he would cook. I splurged and bought Black Angus rib eyes - (Jen is cringing). Steak, baked potatoes, salad, and strawberry shortcake. Yummy.
Mark and Seth are coming home for dinner and then back to the concert at 6:00. Levi and Christi are going, too. I didn't want to go. I'm going to stay home and watch a chick flick and do nothing - my favorite thing to do.
I watched an old Barbara Streisand movie last night - "On a Clear Day you can see Forever".
I'd like to go to town and do a little shopping but with gas at almost $3.00 a gallon I refuse to make unnecessary trips. I go once a week and make it count.
Well, I'm off to mow some more. I'd like to finish her yard today.
Hope you guys are soaking up some sunshine, too.

It's raining here, but I don't mind. :)
Brandy went to the concert tonight. She had a blast! I love hearing her happy.
That meal sounds yummy ummy!
Mark said he ran into Brandy and talked with her a few minutes. She told him about you buying her a ticket - you are so awesome!!
It was a very early birthday present which in all liklihood I will forget I got her and buy her something else. She's my sister. What makes her happy makes me happy. :)
I was cringing! LOL. Sounds like fun, though. I was hard at work in my yard all weekend, and I am soooo sore today. I will post about it later, for your reading amusement.
