I have been working on digging up, dividing, moving some of my perennial flowers - it just blows my mind at how many there are.

I just finished digging up one spot, ONE, where I had daffodils that needed to be divided. Out of that one spot, once they were dug up and divided I got more than 50 bulbs. I put 6 of them back into that spot now I have the rest to try to find a spot for. Where in the world am I going to plant 50 more bulbs?? Like my flower beds aren't full already.

Okay - so, you know where I will be....

wandering around the yard digging holes for daffodil bulbs.

I bet I have 10,000 day lilies and irises that need to be dug up and divided and moved.

Maybe I should start a nursery.

I have been waiting for a single night or weekend that is dry enough and warm enough to get in my gardens. We are all sooooooo sick of winter here!!! Temps are finally approaching 50, but high winds and rain every single fricking evening and weekend. My yard is starting to look like a rainforest.

I'm sorry, Jen. I would be crazy by now if I lived up there.

Well, crazier.

I hear it's warm in Arizona :)

Reading this brought back a memory of digging up dafodils at my great grandmas house. She hated them and used to give them to us kids. If we dug them up, we could have them. She'd stand on the back porch and holler at us to take more with the water cooler humming in the backgroud.
Thanks for reminding me of that.

I love those flowers. I look forward to them all winter! We've got lovely tulips right now, and the daffodils are pretty much gone now.
