Yesterday for lunch I had (wild)Morel mushrooms, wild onions, and asparagus (which comes up every year in my flower beds - so I guess you can call it almost wild)sauteed in butter with a little soy sauce. Yummy.
We've had much rain the last couple of days but thankfully none of the tornadoes that have been surrounding us. Christi had to work late last night, she called about 9:30 to tell us they had had reports of a tornado touching down in Pauls Valley, 30 minutes from us.
I couldn't work outside today because it was too wet. bummer. (geez, I'm old)
We watched another Madea movie last night. It wasn't as good as "Family Reunion" but I did laugh my ass off. Mark and I watched "The Pursuit of Happyness" this evening - good, good movie. What a story. I love to hear people's stories.
Seth is home. Mark picked him up about 9:00 tonight. He is officially one of the gang now. He had a great time, meet everyone, liked everyone. All the boys slept over at the church, the girls went to homes. They stayed up most of the night telling stories and being silly boys. They were supposed to do "ministry" work this morning, they were going to go mow yards for people but the rain stopped that and they didn't have an alternate plan (????)so they played dodge ball all day long.
He's worn completely out and happy as can be.

I am so glad Seth had such a good time!!
The Morels, onions and asparagus sound wonderful!! My Mom grew up going hunting for wild Morels with her Dad each year in Michigan. Morels are very special to her! We found some in Idaho once.
Good stuff all around!
Morels grow in OK? Why am I so dumb? Yea for Seth!
Wow, how lucky are you to have a wild edible garden! That's awesome. And great that Seth had such a great day with everyone.
