I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, we will start on the last two teeth that have to be fixed. I have been going once a month (or so) for almost a year and a half. I can't even remember how many fillings I have had done plus 4 crowns. The last two are my two front teeth and I am really excited that we are finally there. I had to have caps put on my front teeth when I was 21 years old because they were turning black from nerve damage that happened when I was about 15 and had a sinus infection so bad that my head swelled to the point of causing damage to my teeth.
All I remember about that time was laying in a dark room feeling as if I would die. My Mother never even took me to the doctor.
The caps have been on there way too long and have looked awful for years. We just never had the extra money to have them replaced... that's the way it is when you are self-employed, have no health insurance, and have kids whose needs always come first.
I will be able to smile again without being embarrassed by my ugly teeth.
New teeth, new glasses, hmmm... what next? new boobs!!!!!!!!!

My teeth hurt just reading this! Oh, how I hate the dentist! I just had the cap on my chipped tooth replaced a few months ago. Fell in the bath when I was about 5 and broke it. Had a cap put on, but it wore down over the years and like you, I never had the extra money to replace it. I know what a HUGE boost it is to your spirits to have nice looking teeth! Yea, boobs are next on my list, too! Woo hoo! ;)

I just had an dentist visit too. Luckily nothing to major. Just some fillings. I'm glad you are finally getting to take care of you. You deserve it. I'm sorry it has to be painfull though. I'll be looking for a pic of smilin A on the photo blog very soon. :)
