Rainy Sundays are good for nothing but doing nothing, and that is what we have done today. Mark doesn't feel well, he thinks he got some sort of poisoning crawling around in an attic filled with old insulation so he has slept most of the day and when Mark lays around and sleeps you know something is wrong.
I don't feel great either, these stupid temporary crowns on my front teeth are really jacking with me. My mouth is still sore, one of them hurts all the time, especially with anything hot or cold. I can't bite into to anything. Last night sitting at the dinner table with friends one of them just fell off.... well, that was embarrassing.
Bitch, bitch, bitch.
Seth was gone most of Friday and all day Saturday. He spent the night with a friend who was having a birthday. They went to Lazer Zone on Saturday and played lazer tag all afternoon. He had a lot of fun.
Levi and Christi brought home a new puppy Saturday afternoon, a 10 week old boxer female, named Bailey. I've never been around boxers, not sure I much like the breed. We are afraid something is wrong with her, so, Grandma (that would be me)gets to take her to the vet tomorrow.
We watched The Prestige last night. Even with all the great actors in it I didn't much like it.
Today we watched Underworld. I've had it on my queue forever and just now got around to watching it. I've heard the second one is even worse (as far as violence) than this one.
I spent a big part of my weekend reading The Natural Cure by Kevin Trudeau. I don't much care for it either. I don't like his approach. I agree with most of what he says but I don't care about all the political crap he rants on and on about. Anybody with half a brain knows that the government, FDA, the big drug companies are all corrupt. I got the book to read about alternatives not Mr. Trudeau's agenda. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The thing that really pissed me off was the material I did want to read he left out, referring you to his website where you have to pay to read it. Seems to me if you paid for the book you shouldn't have to pay again for this information.
Ok, so by know you are really tired of listening to me bitch and moan..........
toothaches make me grumpy (especially self-inflicted toothaches that cost me $1500.00)

Pain always makes things worse for me. When I am in pain, I get cold. When I am in pain and cold, I get cranky.
When I am in pain, and cold and cranky, I am just....UNPLEASANT
I love Underworld, and the Second Underworld (oh, yeah way violent-er). Violent Bloody movies are a purge for me, particularly when a woman is laying waste to everyone.

Cara - I liked it,too. Emily and I both love movies with kick ass girls as the lead.
One time Seth asked me why I thought Em always pretended to be the boy in the movies... I told "because the boy always gets to be the hero!!"
She and I watch Aeon Flux, Cat Woman and she loves the female Power Rangers... if only Ms Em could walk she would kick butt!!

I am completely heterosexual...but i'd think about switching...for Ripley. LOL
