First an update from Erin - Samuel came thru surgery just fine and is doing well.
****************************************************************

For the last two days it has been almost 80 degrees here, perfect weather, sunshine, a slight breeze - makes me feel soooooo good.
I'm afraid to even look at the 10 day forecast, don't want to know if it's going to get cold again. I mean, I know it will but ... well, you know.

Mark has been in the studio for the last two nights. The kids always go out there when someone is here (if Dad will let them and he usually doesn't mind). Last night I watched "Marie Antoinette". I didn't care for it much. I think it could have been a good movie, it was like it just sort of missed the mark and fell short. The modern music was just weird to me and that horrible rendition of "Where Angels Fear to Tread" in the middle of the movie just made me cringe. It didn't really tell you much of the history of Marie Antoinette, in fact if you didn't already know her history there were parts of the movie where you just wouldn't have known what was going on - like the short scene with the black casket. If you didn't already know that two of her children died you wouldn't have had a clue what was going on. And the ending was strange... nothing like what really happened. Oh, well, I had two hours to waste last night.

I think tonight I will go take a bubble bath and then read a while. I'm pretty disappointed in the book I'm reading, too. It's just too much of the same story (The Time Quartet by M. L'Engle)but it's a fast read so I will finish it up and move on to the next book.

I'm so glad Samuel is okay. I'm sure that was nerve wracking for her.

Yeah, she said Samuel did fine but she was a whole 'nother story.

80!!! Sigh. Oh how I wish it could be 80 here.

I totally agree with you on Marie Antoinette. It could have been SUCH a good movie, and they blew it.
