I love to plan stuff. I love the thinking about it, picturing it in my head, making lists.
Today I am planning Seth's birthday dinner. I had asked the meat market about getting beef tenderloin which they were supposed to have ordered but didn't yet, so, I bought a stack of nice sirloin steaks.
The triple chocolate cake from Kalico Kitchen is on order to be picked up Saturday afternoon.
The menu is going to be tres simple.
Steak
oven fried steak fries
a big plate of sliced cucumbers (which Seth loves and eats with everything)
and cake.
I also started a list today for my autumnal equinox cleanse.
The Autumnal Equinox is on Thursday, Sept. 23. I am planning on, if the weather permits, having dinner and a bonfire in our healing circle that night. And begin my cleanse the next day going for three days. Three days is all I can handle and I feel like it is enough.
I started a grocery list and a menu this morning and will add to it as I think of things to try.
I need to order milk thistle for my liver, stock up on cranberry for my kidneys, pysillium for my colon.
What I haven't done is decide on something for dinner for next Sunday night. Jason and Charity are coming out and I haven't a clue what I am fixing.. .not like me.
Oh, and I am planning a surprise for Seth. I've asked a friend of ours to let him go to an OU game with him. I might not have asked Derek if I had looked at the price of tickets first.. HOLY COW! Did you know it cost $90.00 to go to a freaking football game???
I didn't.
What are you planning?
Your dinner for Seth's birthday sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking about doing a beef tenderloin for my dad's birthday.
I have no plans. It's been a busy summer, so I'm looking forward to some down time.
Sounds super nice. :) I'm a planner, too.
ReplyDeleteSeth is gonna have a blast at that game.
That all sounds awesome, except the cleanse...I just can't hang.
