I keep going to look at the 10 day forecast on weather.com thinking it is going to say something different but NOPE it says the same damn thing every time ... "hey stupid, it is August and you live in Oklahoma - what do you expect?" depressing as hell
Mark was in the studio all day. I sat in the office and shopped on the internet for a long while. I like to shop for Zoe but I want a bargain! I looked at Baby Gap - geez, I love their clothes. I was looking for jeans. Yeah, right, I'm gonna pay 39.95 for Zoe a pair of jeans. So, I looked on ebay.. those crazy women drive the auctions up so high they might as well just go pay retail and get NEW jeans. In an attempt to make me feel better about paying an arm and a leg for her some jeans I started shopping in baby boutiques HA HA HA People actually buy from those places???? really? Didn't work. I gave up and hopped over to webvitamins.com and restocked my pantry on things we were out of.
The jeans will have to wait until I go to Ross next time.
Erin loved Limited Too when she was younger, but I could never justify spending $40 on a pair of jeans she would grow out of in a matter of months. It just seems so wasteful. I bought almost everything she got from Ross. I still do. A 20% discount and a 40% discount three times a year makes shopping at Ross even sweeter!
ReplyDeleteI have a funny story about our shopping days. When Erin was about 9. She kept asking me to go to Old Navy again, and for the life of me I couldn't even remember taking her to Old Navy a first time. She kept saying "You know the one by your work.". There was no Old Navy by my work. Finally I figured out she was talking about Salvation Army! I still laugh when I think about that.
that is cute... and, yes, to being practical!
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty much why I buy all of A's clothes at Goodwill--she's gonna grow out of 'em and paint in 'em and all that. I do look for the good brands when I can. Gymboree and Gap stuff does seem to last longer and wear better.
